After having spent 15 years working with various other Turkish spring making companies, Mr. Nejdet Zehir founded "Uzman Yay Makine Sanayii A.S." in 1989. 

Based first of all, on an Industrial Estate, they then moved to their present extensive site in 1994, where around 80 experienced springmakers are currently employed.

The business has been expanded by investing in the latest "state of the art" CNC coiling and forming machines, whilst producing specialised machinery, in house. The company also supplies Spring Making Machinery to other manufacturers throughout Europe. 

Uzman Yay have been quality certified, since early 1999, and presently hold ISO 9001: 2000 (Reg. Nr: IT-26964) approval, through CISQ/RINA of Italy.
